Obviously, there are times where injuries are inevitable for example contact injuries. But, soft tissue injuries and overload injuries are things that we can definitely have a significant influence on and stop them before they happen.

PRECISION OVER GUESS WORK

 

Sure you could go and grab any old program from instagram or google, but the problem is that they're not specific to you.

To truly get the benefit of a strength and conditioning program we need a compass. 

And this is part of what I'm offering - GUIDANCE.

 

I've compiled the gold standard screening tools and some of my own assessments that I've leaned on in my career, and created this ultimate athletic screening tool.

This screening tool will pick up any imbalances, any potential weak spots, as well as picking up strengths too (got to have some positivity!) And with this data we can create a specific plan for you and your athletic endeavours to help not only reduce injuries but to improve your overall athletic performance.

Better yet, this program works with you. As you start to increase your strength and physical capacity, we can increase the program to ensure that you're always moving forwards. Additionally, we can tune it to work in line with your athletic pursuits, if you've got a heavier week coming up then we can drop our training loads to make sure that you're not burning out.

HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT TO OTHER PROGRAMS? 

Like I said, there's a lot of tools out there that have just been slapped together with your three sets of 10 reps and off you go, and whilst this might work for some it doesn't work for a lot of people.

My program is different. It is built FOR YOU. That is why the initial screening is so important. This literally makes the program about you. Everyone will respond differently to strength and conditioning and that's why it's vital to have direction and precision. 

 

But, the real reason my program is the best, is that I've been there before. I would've killed for something like this back in my sporting career. I struggled with chronic overload injuries, particularly my hips and groins which ultimately ended my career. I tried multiple different physios. I tried multiple different treatments, pills, potions and even surgery, and all of them failed because no one ever took the time to drill down on what the cause was.

Once I become a physio and I realised how easily I could've fixed myself if I knew what I know now, so that is what I want to give to people like yourself. It's a strong passion of mine to keep people performing but more importantly I love nothing more than getting people back to sport when they've been told they cannot do it anymore!

SO WHAT'S ACTUALLY INVOLVED? 

This program is split into 2 phases:

The Screening and The Strength and Conditioning Program.

PHASE 1: SCREENING

We start off with 2 assessment blocks, which looks at everything from the head down the toes and looks at: 

  • Joint range of motion

  • Muscle Power

  • Muscle Endurance

  • Muscle Length

  • Joint Range of Motion

  • Functional Mobility

  • Athletic Movements

With all this data we get a baseline which will identify your strengths but more importantly the areas that we need to improve on.

The best thing about this is you can keep all this data and as we go forward with the program that is also yours for life. I have a strong passion for not stringing people along and keeping information from them. My job as a physio is to give you the tools to keep yourself strong so you walk away from this thing as your own Health professional.

PHASE 2 - STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING

This is the fun part! Once we have all your data. I take that away and form a tailored program to to suit your athletic profile. We want to improve on the weaknesses but we want to also maximise the strengths, additionally we make this suit your athletic endeavours.

He's not included in the strength and conditioning phase:

  • 12- Week Program tailored to you

  • Re-testing at the 6-week point (focusing on the improvement points)

  • Virtual Access to me through the programming platform, this allows us to adjust things on the fly.

Now you might be asking how this is different to any other program, let's answer that below:

WHAT IS INVOLVED IN THE TRAINING?

This is going to differ from person to person, but overall I'm a huge believer in hybrid and functional training. Our bodies are designed to move through multiple ranges of motion and perform tasks of power, explosiveness, strength and endurance, so we need to be equipped to deal with all that! 

I'm also a huge believer of training each of these aspects simultaneously. Gone are the days of overly structured and slow programs, there's no evidence to say that's better, but there is evidence to says it's a waste of time!!

You will need access to gym equipment for this program but we can modify based on what you've got. 

The program itself is delivered over an app called TRAINHEROIC. 

The beauty of this is it allows direct messaging between you and I so we can modify on the fly!

WHAT'S THE COST? ​​​

 

BEFORE YOU READ FURTHER, I'VE GOT A SPOT-LIMITED OFFER AT THE MOMENT (see at end of paragraph!)

Now before we discuss the cost, let's discuss the cost of inaction.

 

As a physio I see an all too familiar trend. Whereby a patient will have the same old repetitive injurie and you just want to scream at them, and tell them that they're wasting their money because they're not doing their homework!! (Rant over!) They could save time and money if they just get their stuff sorted!

 

But, here's an analogy for you:​

 

I liken investing in a program like this to buying running shoes.

Let's say you're in the market for some running shoes.

You think to yourself "I'm gonna save a bit of money and I'll buy myself the $120 pair of shoes" - Which in this example we will think of this as seeing a physio after you've injured yourself.​

 

Let's say these shoes last you three months before you've got holes in them,  they've lost all their bounce and generally looking a bit worse for wear.

 

So you go back and you buy the exact same pair and they last you another three months. And you repeat this another two times over the year you've had four pairs of shoes and spent $480.​

 

On the flip-side you could've rocked in and bought yourself a $200 pair of shoes which last you six months. You then replace them with the same pair at the end of the year you've spent 400 bucks and you've had two good pairs of shoes.

 

​My point is you can end up spending hundreds, if not thousands over the course of a season on injury rehab and trust me I've been there myself. Back when I played footy. There were years where I spent well over a $1000 on treatment and it got me nowhere.

 

Now I see it in clinic as a physio. I've seen athletes come through with an injury and they see me for one or two sessions and head back way too early and re-injure themselves. You obviously try to get them to do all the extra rehab but they're not too interested in it, but they'll happily spend a few hundred bucks each time they ping their hamstring.​

 

Whereas if you invest in a program like this, you invest in yourself and not only help prevent injury, but, you gain the knowledge required to keep yourself better and ultimately save money on rehab down the line.​ So let's talk cost.​

Overall a program like this would cost approximately $1700​ if it was purely done on my physio rates.

 

Here's the break down for you: 

2 x assessments - $440

1 x follow-up screening - $114

The report synthesis - $160

Program Design and ongoing modification - $540

1:1 access - $420

but instead, you're getting all that for $550 - that's about the equivalent of 5 physio sessions!

BUT.........

Now I only have the capacity to run this on 20 people at this price point. So get in quick!!
