Questions Before You Book? Here's What You Need to Know.

The stuff people ask me most — about appointments, insurance, what I treat, and how I work. If your question isn't here, call me on 0423 921 723.

Do I need a referral to see a physio?

No referral needed. You can book directly through the website or give me a call. If you're claiming through WorkCover, DVA, or an EPC (Enhanced Primary Care) plan from your GP, you will need paperwork from your referring doctor — but you're welcome to book in and we'll sort it out together.

How long is a physiotherapy appointment?

Initial assessments are 40 minutes so I can properly understand what's going on and build you a clear plan. Follow-up appointments are 20–30 minutes depending on what we're working on.

Do you treat sports injuries?

That's my bread and butter. I've spent 10 years working in sport — including with Port Adelaide Power (AFL), Port Magpies (SANFL), and State Basketball. Whether it's an ACL, a rolled ankle, a hamstring that won't stay healthy, or a shoulder that keeps catching — I've seen it and rehabbed it.

What suburbs do you cover?

The clinic is in Green Fields (5107), and I regularly see patients from Mawson Lakes, Parafield Gardens, Salisbury, Salisbury East, Pooraka, Para Hills, Ingle Farm, and across Adelaide's northern suburbs. I also offer telehealth appointments if you're further out.

What's The Comeback Code?

It's a 12-week physio-led strength and conditioning program I built for people who are stuck in the cycle of getting injured, resting, feeling better, going back to activity, then getting hurt again. It's designed for active adults aged 30–50 who want to break that loop for good. Ask me about it at your next appointment or check the website.

How much does a physio appointment cost?

Pricing depends on the type of appointment. I accept private health insurance (with on-the-spot claiming via HICAPS), WorkCover, DVA, and EPC referrals. For current pricing, check the website or call the clinic directly.

Do you offer telehealth?

Yes. Telehealth consultations are available for follow-ups, exercise programming, and rehab check-ins. It's particularly useful if you're outside the northern suburbs or managing a program like The Comeback Code remotely.

I've had back pain for years. Can physio actually help?

Short answer — yes, but not if the approach is just "rest and stretch." Chronic back pain usually means something in the system isn't loading properly, and it needs a structured plan to rebuild capacity. That's exactly what I do. I'll assess what's actually driving the pain, not just where it hurts, and build a plan that progressively gets you stronger and more resilient. Most of my long-term back pain patients see real change within 6–8 weeks.

Can I claim physio on my private health insurance?

Yes. I have HICAPS on-site so you can claim your rebate on the spot. The amount you get back depends on your level of cover — check with your insurer for specifics.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Wear comfortable clothing you can move in. Bring any referral letters, scans, or imaging reports if you have them (not essential — I can request them if needed). If you're claiming through insurance, bring your health fund card. Most importantly, just bring yourself and be ready to talk through what's been going on.
